4 Valentines Day gift ideas that are sure to please

Valentines day is quickly approaching, and if you’re scrambling to find a great and thoughtful gift idea, that hasn’t been done over and over again, isn’t cliche AND wont cost you tons of cash (after all, Christmas was less than 2 months ago!) then you’re in the right place.

These gift ideas are quick to make and will certainly be a hit with your honey. Which coincidently brings me to my first gift idea…

1. Honey Jars in a Wood Crate

If your sweetie enjoys a great cup of tea then this set of local honey is perfect! Autumn Harvest Orchard Honey is made right here in CT by a local organic farmer. It is the most delicious honey I’ve ever tasted. The difference between store bought and fresh honey is undeniable. This Honey set comes in wooden crate that can be personalized with a name and or special date (like an Anniversary, Wedding Date, First Kiss… you get the point), 3 Jars of Honey (12 oz, 16 oz and 24 oz), Set of 4 Honey Comb shaped wooden coasters.

2. Personalized Tree Branch Coasters

Personalized Coasters

So does your honey enjoy a warm cup of tea, coffee or a cold drink? Give them present you can use all year round and reminds them of your love. This coaster set of 4 is made from actual tree branches and can be personalized and wood burned with both your initials inside a heart shape. Its like a beautiful carving of your initials on a real tree!

3. Spa or Shaving, Gift Set

Spa Gift Set

Shave Kit

One of the best gifts Ive ever received was a spa kit, filled with some of my favorite things. Simply fill a crate, basket or decorative box with all the things he/she loves. For example, scented bath products, body butters, scrubs, a bottle of wine and chocolates (milk chocolate for me please!).

If you want to put together a shaving kit, here are some ideas: fill a crate with products such as shaving cream, a brush to apply lather, after shave, razor, face cloth and moisturizing lotion. You will BOTH appreciate it =) I love this one because it is personal AND you can put it together in one day, by visiting your favorite store.

4. Conversation Heart/ Keepsake Boxes

Conversation Heart

This conversation heart trinket box is such an awesome and easy DIY.  You cant go wrong with a gift like this, especially if you include a little something inside. Tic-Tacs for work, mints for home, M&Ms, gum balls, or a ring 😉 Check out the simple steps by clicking here.

There you have it! I hope these gifts have inspired you to give your sweetie a gift made JUST for them. Here’s a few more tips, and as I always say

Until next time, Happy Crafting!
