I was born and raised in the Bronx, N.Y.C., but I have been fortunate yo travel and live all over the United States, thanks to my husband’s former military (Marine Corps) career. We are now blessed to call Connecticut our home.
My passion is this company and the items I share for sale. I absolutely love and appreciate personalized, handmade items… and I truly enjoy making them. I have been doing this for over ten years now.Whether I am happy, anxious or sad, this is what I turn to #Crafting!
Angel
My name is Angel and I am the co-owner of WoodyThings.com. We are the proud parents of three wonderful kids, and we live and operate in Connecticut, USA. I was born in the Dominican Republic and moved to the United States (New York City) in the early 90’s. Since then I’ve completed a career in the United States Marine Corps, I’ve earned my MBA in business, and I’ve learned a few lessons along the way.
My wife and I own and operate Woody Things, an online shop where we design, make and market the products you see here today. My passion for wooden items began during my career in the Marine Corps. I was awed by the handcrafted, meticulously sculpted pieces of custom gifts customarily awarded to Marines as they completed their career. I want to replicate that feeling by providing such items to my customers. Feel free to check out our WoodyThings blog, where we post Do-it-Yourself How-To projects you can complete at home.

We at WoodyThings are proud to provide a service to our customers and our community. Through the years we’ve been blessed with great family, friends and amazing customers. Whenever possible, we love to “give back” by helping others in their time of need.
