Yellow Footprints are symbolic to any Marine. Our journey and transformation into Marine-hood 
starts earlier in the enlistment process, however, it is visually captured in true form the moment we step off those buses at Marine Corps Recruit Depot (MCRD) Parris Island or San Diego. The moment we arrive at recruit training we’re introduced to Bootcamp life and learn how to stand at attention (feet joined at the heels, opened 45-degrees), just like these Yellow Footprints.
We’ve personalized ours with the Recruit’s Last Name, Platoon Number, and/or date your recruit arrived at the Marine Corps Recruit Depot. These Yellow Footprint ornaments are a great decoration to hang around your house or workspace all year round. Do you celebrate Christmas? We think these 
ornaments make a great addition to your Marine Corps family Christmas tree.
The ornaments are made from solid pieces of real tree branches, we’ve sliced a tree branch into 1/4″ pieces, measuring approximately 2.5-3.5″ round. We then wood-burned the yellow footprints and painted them yellow (of course). We’ve drilled a small hole through the top and attached a piece of twine so you may hang it from your heart’s desire.
