Military Chest with Flag Display and Shadow Box Tray 26×15

Description

We are proud to offer the largest version of our custom-ordered Military Retirement Chest. We’ve taken the original military chest design and made it even bigger. This version is deeper, wider and longer to fit an even larger display on the lid.

This Military chest is made from solid wood, we use premium select pine, as it contains less knots and is smoother in texture. This version of the chest measures approximately  26” long x 15″ wide x 12” tall.

These measurements allows for the versions that include a 3” lid/flag display, another 2-3” shadow box to sit inside, and another 6 or so inches underneath to store other items.

Please provide us (at check out) with the Rank and Name you want written on the top of the box (if any). Also, please provide the service component (Marines, Army, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard or Space Force) if you’d like that added as well.

CHEST VERSIONS

1️⃣ Original Chest – $525

Perfect option includes a solid wooden chest, sanded and stained, personalized with the recipient’s rank/name, service component (Army, Navy, Coast Guard, Air Force and Marines!).

2️⃣Chest with Flag Display on Lid – $575

The next tier option includes the basic chest listed above, and includes a one or two flag displays embedded on the inside of the lid.

We add mounting felt on the inside of the lid so you can add ribbons, badges, placard, medals 🏅, pictures and more!

The entire flag display is encased behind plexiglass (shatter proof). You can easily remove the glass, fill the compartment and nail the glass back in place.

With this option, you can add a set of folded American and a Service flags.

3️⃣Chest with Shadow Box (no flags on the lid)- $625

This version of the chest does not include a flag display on the lid, but it does add a shadowbox tray that sits flushed inside the chest.

The shadowbox is constructed of solid wood, and we include finishing nails for you to close after you’ve filled it with pictures, ribbons, medals or anything else you’d like to cherish the occasion.

The shadowbox is a great gift that can be displayed on a bookshelf, mantel, or hung on a wall (mounting hardware not included).

4️⃣ Complete Chest – includes Flag Displays AND Shadow Box – $675

This version is the ultimate chest which includes all the bells and whistles. The chest includes a flag display in the inside lid. Choose between one or two flags – like a 3×5’ American Flag and a unit flag (like a Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Coast Guard).

You will also receive a shadowbox tray as listed above.

ABOUT THE CHESTS

🔩Hardware 🔩

✓ We will accent the chest with matching gold/brass colored corner brackets, latch and hinges.

✓ Personalization is done with heavyweight vinyl for a clean crisp look.

✓ We use 5/8″ ropes as the handles.

 

🇺🇸Flag Displays 🇺🇸

* Choose between 1 or 2 folded 3’x5’ flag display openings on the display. (Flags can be procured, folded and added at an additional cost (approximately $25 add-on; we don’t stock flags so we purchase and include at cost)

* Space in the center to pin other items (medals, pictures, plaque, a message, etc.)

 

Shadow Box Tray

✅ The shadow box is wood stained and fits snugly inside the chest.

✅ We attach felt material over a thick, cushioned cardboard or cork to the inside/background of the shadow box so you can assemble your ribbons, patches, photos etc.

✅ The shadowbox is enclosed behind shatter-proof plexiglass.

✅ We include all the nails needed for you to close it.

* Please note that any delays in communication between the customer and seller can push back the completion date. We cannot personalize your item without all the necessary information from you. Please keep this in mind if you need it by a certain date (e.g. a retirement party or going away event).
