Military Chest and Shadow Tray

This Military chest is made from solid Pine. It measures 24 x 12-3/4 x 11-3/4″ inches tall. The box was stained in either a dark or a light version (you choose!).

As a popular design option, many clients ask us to add their service member’s rank and last name. We add design elements such as the Marine Corp’s Eagle, Globe and Anchor (EGA) or an Army Star, Air Force Wings or Coast Guard/Navy Anchors centered beneath.

When you open the chest you may find framed 8 x 10 where you can add the unit’s logo. Alternatively, we’ve added cork and/or felt or painted the inside lid. Many choose to add patches, medals, messages, etc. on the inside lid. Another version of the chest adds a flag display (or two) so you can add a unit/service flag, along with an american flag 🇺🇸

SHADOW BOX:
✅ The shadow box is wood stained and fits snugly inside the chest.
✅ We attach felt material over cork to the inside/background of the shadow box so you can assemble ribbons, patches, photos etc.
✅ We include a wooden name plate personalized with the recipients name in the same vinyl we use for the logos, rank and name on the outside of the box.
✅ Name plate is available in 2 sizes, either 9” x 1.5” if the shadow box is displayed horizontally OR 6-3/4” x 1/2” if the shadow box will be displayed vertically.
✅ The shadowbox is enclosed behind shatter-proof plexiglass.
✅ If you’ll be adding items to the shadow box yourself we’ll include all the nails needed for you to close it.

There is 5″ clearance beneath the tray. We used 5/8″ ropes as the handles.

The chest dimensions allows for a 3” lid/flag display, another 2-3” shadow box to sit inside (included), and another 6 or so inches underneath to store other items.

🖍 LIGHT colored chest is wood stained in Early American
🖍DARK colored chest is wood stained in Red Mahogany.
🖍If you have another color in mind, please let us know to ensure we can make it that color. We’re typically able to use most colors available at the big box home improvement stores.

🔩HARDWARE🔩
We will accent the chest with matching gold/brass colored corner brackets, latch and hinges.
✓ Personalization is done with heavyweight vinyl for a clean crisp look.
✓ We use 5/8″ ropes as the handles.

🇺🇸FLAG DISPLAY Option🇺🇸
We can make the lid hold 1 or two flags, leaving a space in the center to pin other items (medals, a message, etc.)

* Please note that any delays in communication between the customer and seller can push back the completion date. We cannot personalize your item without all the necessary information from you. Please keep this in mind if you need it by a certain date (e.g. a retirement party or going away event).
